Mittenwald. On saturday night an argument between a couple escalated after they came back home from a bar crawl.

Back in the flat the 35 year old woman went on the rampage and started throwing bottles out of the window. A car parked outside was damaged and neighbours called the police. Her partner tried to stop her, but she suddenly took a kitchen knife and stabbed her partner in the stomach. The man was losing a large amount of blood and was brought to a clinic immediately. He is severly injured, according to the police, but it is not life threatening.

After an investigation the Kripo and the prosecutor's office in Munich assume that it was attempted homicide.
