Oberschleissheim . On Friday morning at the edge of the gliding area at Oberschleissheim airfield, workers have discovered a bomb from World War II.

The workers came across the device unexpectedly and called emergency services. The 75-kilogram explosive device was defused and disposed on the spot by the bomb disposal squad.  The area near Münchner Allee was blocked until 11 a.m.
