Munich. Customs officers discovered a delivery of disguised field beans, which turned out to be 3.5 tons of tobacco. The tax evasion comes to a total of 80 000 Euro.
Customs officials checked a hungarian truck on the A3 at the border crossing to Suben (Austria) at the weekend. As the main customs office informed on tuesday, upon inspection of the second pallet the officers found only water pipe tobacco.
The tobacco was intended for the english market. Preliminary investigations were initiated against the hungarian driver.
