Munich. From 5 to 7 February the annual security conference will be held at the Bayerischer Hof.  As in previous years, top politicians, diplomats, military and security experts from NATO countries and the European Union, and other countries such as Russia, China, Japan and India will debate on the topical issues of security and defense policy.

Military opponents and critics of globalization have called for counter-demonstrations. According to the Vice-President of the Police Department, Robert Kopp, it is expected that deomonstrators will be peaceful. However there is a growing trend towards radicalization at these events and the police are expecting among others around 400 violent demonstrators.
