A Greek prisoner who is jailed in Greece, used a bomb threat at Munich Hauptbahnhof station to try and secure his release from prison on Monday, 11.01. Although explosive experts could find nothing dangerous there, it was a legitimate bomb threat that had to be taken seriously, confirmed the Munich prosecutor's office on Thursday to Muenchen-TV. The alleged bomb alert at Munich main train station was a more serious threat than was previously assumed.  Police managed to open the locker in question where the alleged device was supposed to have been planted and found a burning candle, which showed the Greek prisoner did indeed have an accomplice in Munich to carry out this action.
